AI Engineer
The Role
We are looking for an AI Engineer to design and build the core AI systems that power Ylookup’s workflow automation inside Excel.
You will work on applied, production-grade AI problems, including LLM-driven reasoning, structured data extraction, reconciliation logic, and review workflows. The focus is building reliable systems that professionals trust.
What You’ll Do
Design and build LLM-powered features used directly in Excel-based workflows
Develop agentic systems for data ingestion, analysis, reconciliation, and review
Improve model reasoning quality, reliability, and consistency
Work closely with engineering and product to take features from prototype to production
Establish best practices for evaluation, monitoring, and iteration of AI systems
Make pragmatic trade-offs between accuracy, latency, and usability
Who You Are
Hands-on experience working with LLMs in production environments
Strong engineering fundamentals and ability to ship reliable systems
Experience solving real-world problems with applied AI or ML
Comfortable working end-to-end, from model behaviour to user impact
Clear communicator who can explain technical decisions to non-technical teammates
Bias toward action and ownership in fast-moving environments
